The M-345 is a jet aircraft designed for basic through to advanced training of military pilots, equipped with modern avionics and characterised by operating costs comparable to those of a high-powered turboprop trainer.
Missions & features
Integrated training solution
Based on experience in the M-346 programme, in line with the most advanced standards for fighter aircraft, the avionics of the M-345 include a state-of-the-art man-machine interface, while the Embedded Tactical Training System (ETTS) permits reproduction of highly complex tactical scenarios during training flights.
A fully digitalised design makes the M-345 an aircraft designed to achieve maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness thanks to its low-consumption powerplant derived from commercial aircraft combined with innovative structural and system monitoring technology that eliminates the most expensive types of maintenance.
The high performance guaranteed by the avionics and the outstanding external load capacity – more than 1,000kg, with four under-wing pylons – also allow the M-345 to play an operational role in air-to-air and air-to-ground defence.
